Breakfast at Olde Smokehouse

A rare chance, perhaps it is even once in a lifetime chance for me to have the opportunity to travel to Cameron Highlands with all the uncles from overseas. The eldest being 80, second being 78 and my dad being 70, recalling the good old times over breakfast is priceless!

What is more appropriate is we are at Olde Smokehouse which is over 73 years old serving traditional English breakfast.
The breakfast set came standard with a glass of orange juice, toast and croissant served in a basket, a bowl of corn flakes with cold milk, and cute little trays of home-made strawberry jam, marmalade and manually rolled butter.

A choice of English breakfast tea (of course) or black coffee with steamed milk at the side. I am beginning to feel as snobbish as any English could be ;P
As an option, one can go for the full breakfast set which include the good old bacon, sausage, sunny side up eggs, baked beans, hash brown, grilled tomato and saute pinot mushrooms.
The hotel is beautifully decorated with antique art, cutlery, chandelier, even a cozy fireplace for guests to relax. The colorful outdoor rose garden is simply breath-taking and many marrying couples were there to have their photos taken professionally.
A place that I highly recommend for anyone to visit. If breakfast is too early, they also offer hi-tea in the afternoon. English style with scone, tart and cream, of course.
