Uncle Bob Fried Chicken

We were on our way home from the island and realized it's FRIDAY today, which means pasar malam time. Tiang E has been raving about a fried chicken snack there for over a year and timing was right, right now!

We walked around the pasar malam compound searching for only one specific stall - UNCLE BOB. Towards the middle of the compound, we saw the two bold yellow words staring at us. YES!

Bought two chicken fillet home and must admit it's Goooood. The chicken, true to its claim, is without chicken skin. The oil is little on the high side but then again it IS a fried dish. The meat is prepared to tender and the seasoning is just right. The concept is made popular by Shih Lin which has outlets across the countries so I am not so sure of uncle BoB's claim of being Malaysia's 1st.... maybe first in many other things possible.

For those who like fried chicken, this is definitely a dish to try.
