Mom wanted to car pool with us to the island to do her hair. Yet she wants us to follow her time schedule instead. So here we are at Island Plaza, an hour before her slot at the saloon, slowly I am beginning to ponder if this is also part of her plan to have lunch at Edo Ichi.
Luckly, Edo Ichi serves good quality Japanese seafood, albeit hefty price tag. Each of us ordered a lunch set and as the place was very crowded, we have to settle at the sushi counter. So naturally, Max's order will be the sashimi set. Generous servings of fresh tuna, salmon, whiting and mackerel on ice, bowl of rice, salad, chawanmushi, miso soup, pickled vegetable and honeydew as dessert.
Add ordered the grilled salmon set - comes with agadashi tofu, chawanmushi, miso, pickled vegetable, rice, salad and fruits. The salmon is freshly grilled with sweet Japanese sauce.
Mom ordered the grilled cod fish set - same as the salmon set except the fish. And price tag.
I ordered the grilled saba set with sushi - comes with the standard salad, rice, fruits, pickled vegetable and miso.
